It's funny how growing up turns things that you once thought were bad into things that are good. For example: oysters, broccoli, and your phone not ringing for an entire day.
On the playground, no one wants to be tagged. But in blogland, I guess you do! Stan from BrandDNA was kind enough to tag me, and now I'm going to reveal 5 things you didn't know about me, and then tag 5 more people! fun!
If you're confused, please refer to Stan's post about his particular tagging, and then maybe it will be clearer.
Ok - so 5 things you might not have known about me...
1. Even though i love being an account planner, and everything that goes with it, I still have a sort of "when I grow up i want to be" wish to be a photographer. I think i can do both though, so that's the good news.
2. I'm not bad at waterskiing, and i was once in a waterski pyramid in a ski show (i grew up on a lake in Rhode Island).
3. I sort of miss living in LA. ok, you might have already known that.
4. I have a strange disorder that will not allow me to see a grammatical or spelling error without calling it out - I'm trying to control this, because it's not very nice, and definitely something i don't like about myself, but it still happens occasionally. But if it's an error that is in an ad or published material, then all bets are off - they should know better.
5. When i play trivial pursuit, I always pick the literature category. I suck at Geography and Sports.
The 5 people I'm tagging - hopefully they'll have time to play.
Gareth Kay - his is one of the first planning blogs I ever started reading, and I'm a big fan.
Noah Brier - I like reading Noah because everything he has to say is always well thought out, driven home with perfect analogies, and has a point. He inspires me to resist posting about stuff like new boots I got.
Caterina of Flickr, who always seems to be doing interesting things, and without whom the best site ever would not exist.
Simon Law , a fellow Bill Bernbach fan.
Johanna at Cellar Door - genuine excitement and enthusiasm is hard to come by these days, in my experience, so i love reading Johanna's stuff.
I am very happy to see my friend Noah up there! Thank you so much for tagging me, and your kind words are so flattering. I think I'm blushing over here (:
