AWNY

( explanation to everyone who has no idea what the following post means - Johanna and I are doing a workshop for the AWNY career conference tomorrow, and we wanted to provide some helpful comms planning -and randomly awesome- links to all of the attendees )

Hey, we just saw you!

Thanks for coming to our workshop! Now that we’ve given a brief rundown of what communications planning is all about, we’ve compiled a short list of places you can go to find out more. Feel free to contact either Johanna or I with any questions you might have.

House of Naked - the official Naked NY blog

Heron Preston’s blog about street culture in New York:

Mike K’s blog about communications planning and culture:

Faris' blog about transmedia planning

Plannersphere , a collective of planners from all over the world (started by the aforementioned Faris):

Russell Davies, uber-planner:

Likemind, monthly coffee meetup in 38 cities worldwide ( started by Noah and Piers ):

All Day Buffet, blog uniting cultural events with social causes (they organize the monthly Cause For Drinks meetups, where proceeds go to a different cause each time)

For even more random links, you can visit my Del.ici.ous page.  It would appear to be the link collection of a fashion-obsessed, animal loving schizophrenic, which may be accurate.

Bye!
